“A well-located apartment with functions on three levels, filled with wonderful African artwork and books. The host is very friendly and helpful. The staircase to his apartment upstairs does look onto the rental apartment’s living room. Cozy bedroom, washer dryer, well appointed kitchen.”

“Canal view stay has to be one of the best BnB experiences that we have ever had. The comfort and home-feel of a BnB was combined with the attention to detail and service found within a design hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the space that was larger than expected from the photos. The apartment is in an excellent location walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and of course - Vondelpark. We became regulars at the bar next door that serves great food and drinks....

“Good location and unique place ”

“If you are looking for a place to stay in Amsterdam, this is a great option. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms aren’t easy to find in a historic property and it was perfect for us (two couples). Tons of unique restaurants right outside your door as well as grocery stores and access to public transportation. Close enough to the tourist area but also far enough to escape some of that busyness. Within a couple blocks of a huge park as well. Christy was very responsive and offered some great advice...

“Roy welcomed us at our early arrival! A short walk from bus 397 or train from the airport…then perfectly situated for “ canal life” and a hub for wonderful restaurants and walks! We would welcome the opportunity to stay here again!”

“Tolle und vorallem super besondere Unterkunft für einen Städtetrip nach Amsterdam. Dank der detaillierten Zugangsbeschreibung konnten wir problemlos in die schöne und sehr saubere Unterkunft einchecken und wurden auch direkt freundlich vom Besitzer Maarten begrüßt. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit ist man zu Fuß am Bahnhof und im Zentrum. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.”

“From location, to host welcome, to the historical residence…this place has it all. We would enjoy excursions then come back to the apartment and sit by the window and look out over the canal and bridge, and watch the world happen…incredible!! We felt very safe in this area too.”

“Boudewijn & Adrienne were very attentive and friendly. They helped us with things to see and do during our stay. The apartment was comfortable and well decorated. It is easy to see the care and workmanship taken to prepare the unit for guests. I would definitely stay there again”

“I stayed here for 10 days and it was just what I wanted — plus the landlady is the kindest, sweetest person ever! She cheerfully helped me wrestle my heavy suitcase down the stairs and deal with the King’s Day crowds. A truly gracious and kindhearted host!! The apartment was spotless with a very comfy bed and the bathroom was also spotless and fully modernized. Perfect location on in the northern edge of the Jordaan district — about 20 feet from one of the canals and near stores of all kinds,...

“This was a wonderful bed and breakfast with beautiful rooms! Excellent service and breakfast that accommodates your needs and schedule. If I ever return to Amsterdam I will stay here!”

“Casa veramente carina con grandi finestre con vista. Il proprietario Roy veramente super gentile e cordiale, è stato flessibile sull’orario del check-in. La struttura perfetta per 4 persone in cerca di un alloggio ad amsterdam, la posizione della casa è ottima a 10 minuti dalla stazione centrale con tutto a portata di mano. Consiglio a chiunque.”

“Camera spaziosa, pulitissima ed in prossimita' del centro. Proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili. Soggiorno fuori dal comune. Oltre il classico hotel. Consigliato.”

“Very nice stay on the boat. Terrace is very convinient if you want to stay in the sun. Very calm even though there is a bridge but the noice is not very hard. Nice small room with everything you need. One inconvenient: the soap was not refilled there was no soap but we used the shower gel that was refilled.”

“Well situated, quiet street, close to the metro, near the supermarket. Bed was too soft.”

“This unit was just what we were looking for. Perfect spot for a couple. The neighborhood was close to all that we did. Walking to all. There is a bike shop across the street , if you prefer 2 wheels. The restaurants within blocks were delicious We ate at Hicks, Bake My Day, Lucca, De Belhamel. I would recommend staying here!!”

“Ho apprezzato la posizione, comodissima al centro città, una sola fermata del treno diretto alla Central station. Comodissimo al supermercato, ben fornito, distante solo 200m. Ottima struttura, moderna, funzionale e pulita. Il personale alla reception giovane e molto disponibile. Assolutamente consigliabile. Forse la zona dovrebbe attrezzarsi con un’offerta maggiore di ristorazione quali bar e qualche ristorante.”
