“The room was a good size and very comfortable for 4. The front desk staff was not overly helpful. Elevators are a bit of a hassle. One of our party was stuck in the elevator and the staff were condescending even though the person was clearly panicked. Our room was not cleaned as scheduled which was disappointing. Overall not a bad stay the customer service was a little lacking. ”

“Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful by providing maps and recommendations. Grab and go coffee and breakfast snacks were in the lobby every morning and freshly baked cookies were available every afternoon. Coffee was hot and fresh all day. Upon request, our pillows were swapped out for flatter ones and additional clothes hangers were delivered to our room. We will certainly stay here if we visit Bar Harbor again. ”

“This was an amazing stay! The view is awesome. The staff were so friendly...the front desk was very helpful. Coffee, tea, lemon water, fruit and muffins available at all hours. Such a great feature. The hot breakfast was great. Loved the hot tub each night after long days of hiking. Bar Habor and Acadia are beautiful!”

“Ottima base per visitare Bar Harbor e l'Acadia N.P., posizionato fronte oceano. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa con vista splendida sul mare. L'albergo e' dotato di una piscina esterna e fronte hotel c'e' il molo da cui partono alcune escursioni in battello. All'interno un bistrò dove si mangia senza lode e senza infamia. Non dotato di spiaggia sabbiosa, praticamente inutilizzabile per la balneazione. Nel parcheggio c'e' la fermata del pullman che fa la spola con il centro di Bar Harbor.”

“Hotel was a nice modern hotel with a large bar and games in lobby. The beds were comfortable, but the layout of the bathroom area was a bit awkward. The toilet was so loud when flushed and everything echoed. No privacy. It would have been fine if travelling alone but with a family, it was a bit uncomfortable. Valet service available but some street parking available as well. ”

“Absolutely amazing stay at the Colony! We felt welcomed immediately, and our dog was welcomed with a thoughtful bag of goodies from the hotel. Rooms were super clean and the property was so pretty!
