“Roberto, our host, made our stay very comfortable. He also arranged a transfer for us from the airport. The apartment is lovely and has all the amenities you would need while away from home. Loved that they had a sign with a map of the street, restaurants, and shops. Plus you are within walking distance of the Vatican. Overall we were very happy that we stayed at Casa Sofia.”

“Tutto è stato curato nei minimi dettagli; Francesca è un'ospite perfetta e ha pensato a tutto! L'appartamento si trova in una posizione molto tranquilla e allo stesso tempo molto centrale e vicino al Vaticano, Castel Sant'Angelo, Trastevere, Gianicolo,... “The house is located in a nice and well connected location, 10 min walking distance from the Vatican and city center. High standard interior design, stylish and spacious bathrooms (one of which complemented by a jacuzzi!!!) and super comfortable king-size beds have made our stay incredibly relaxing and pleasant. “Die Wohnung ist ideal gelegen in der Nähe des Vatican. In der gleichen Straße sind mehrere Cafés und Restaurants. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass man mit der Vermieterin zusammen in der Wohnung wohnt. Man schläft auf der Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer. Das war uns vorher nicht klar, weshalb wir sehr irritiert waren. Ansonsten handelt es sich um ein sehr nettes Appartement.”

“Our stay in Rome ruled. We didn’t want to leave. The property was clean, convenient, quiet and charming. The grocery store down the street and multiple cafes and restaurants kept us fed and happy, and the proximity to the train was unbeatable. Next time we’re in Rome we hope to stay again.”

“Apartment is dated. One bathroom smelled horrible the entire stay. Got there and air conditioner wasn’t working. Manager showed up right away but was grumpy. Told me I had to pay an additional city tax and cleaning fee. I guessed I was getting scammed but had no other option but to pay. Air conditioning worked about 75% of time. Would not recommend.”

“Property was clean and looked like the pictures. Property could be better maintained. The shower drain must have been clogged because the shower filled quickly and there was no tub so I had to take quick showers. The hot water may have had a problem because the water would only get warm at best when turned all the way to hot. The shower head was also pretty gross and was due to be cleaned. The metal window shutter was broken and when I tried to lift it to let light in it wouldn’t stay up. The...

“Communication with the host was difficult as we were traveling so when we arrived there the directions as to our room number and keys were not easily available. The host did allow us to come in an hour early which we appreciated. However, the entry door needed repair and caused not only ourselves but other guests' problems. Our host was upset and used a raised voice. We lost hours of sleep trying to resolve the issue.”
