“Lovely old building and room. There was some mold in the bathroom. The breakfast was good; you have to eat at the same time every day. The location was excellent and the building was secure.”

“Bellissima casa in stile vittoriano, sicuramente non per gli amanti della modernità ma per chi adora calarsi nelle atmosfere vintage. La colazione, tipicamente inglese, nel suo genere è ottima. Il centro città può essere raggiunto facilmente a piedi, ma non manca la fermata del bus nelle vicinanze . Mi mancava solo Miss Marple!”

“Struttura tipica e caratteristica del posto, architettura e giardino piacevole, MA personale scortesissimo, abbiamo dovuto passare la prima notte fuori dall albergo per aver ffatto mezz ora di ritardo dal tempo massimo del check in, camera eccessivamente piccola e nella sala colazione siamo stati cambiati di posto, rispetto a quello prescelto, nonostante in struttura eravamo gli unici.”

“Se possono, flessibili nel soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti. A pochissimi passi (200 metri) dalle antiche mura, praticamente adiacente al centro storico (decisamente raggiungibile a piedi).”

“Guest house a dieci minuti a piedi dal castello di York. Camera carina e pulita così come il bagno nella stanza. Essendo al secondo piano della struttura abbiamo lasciato un bagaglio in macchina perché le scale erano un po strette per passare con i bagagli più grandi. Colazione semplice ma soddisfacente”

“Room was really good and comfortable. Overlooked car park. Excellent bath/shower room. Didnt have evening meal as hotel had hen or stag party booked in. Also as I have limited appetite choice was restricted. Overall would certainly recommend staying here also dog friendly so daughters family could bring their dog and all atebrsakfast together”

“The location is unbeatable but amenities were sparse - like towels - and it felt like the decor was more important than the comfort factor. The bed was uncomfortable, there were no pegs to hang up your 2 towels, and there was no air flow. Just a fan. It felt like more of an AirBnb than a hotel. If you’re looking for a place where there’s someone to greet you and help you with extra needs and/or recommendations- this is not the place to be. ”

“The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Have never been to a Glamping pod before but would absolutely visit the little hide again. The pod was a good size and had everything we needed. Great location and the showers/ toilets are well kept. Would come back next time and will bring a disposable bbq to use at the shared area.”
