“The view from our room was incredible - we had the family suite and it was lovely and spacious. Staff were lovely and helpful and catered to every need. The cracked ceiling needs to be fixed though as it didn’t look great. ”

“This is my go to hotel when I visit my son at the Uni, so I've stayed multiple times. Never had a bad stay, reception is always welcoming and rooms are clean and comfortable beds. It is a 15-20 min walk from town and further to the sea but the location suits me as I like walking and the free parking is a big plus.”

“Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. “Have stayed here before and will stay here again. Great experience from checking in to checking out. Staff are friendly, helpful and generally lovely. Rooms are clean, well decorated and furnished. Shower is spacious and powerful. Breakfast is included and there are a good number of options, excellent! A great bonus is the free parking in a secure car park. I have nothing negative to say, very happy 😊 ”

“Stanza piccola, ma abbastanza confortevole e colorata. Mancavano però scrivania e bollitore, ma non c'era nemmeno spazio per metterli! Bagno molto piccolo, con lavandino minuscolo ed assenza sia di ripiani sia di portasciugamani. Tutto molto pulito. Wi-fi funzionante solo sotto, al bar dell'hotel! “Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. “When I arrived the signs through the front door was confusing. I just found my way through to the bar where I spoke to the lovely staff behind the bar. Staff were really nice. Was shown to my room. Bed was comfortable, bedding and towels were clean. Carpet and bathroom floor was not clean. Hair on the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee was a welcome addition.
