“Booked a single room which was quite small but it was exactly as per the photo. The bathroom was quite spacious and very well lit. Extremely clean as was the bathroom. Noise insulation wasn’t great as the room is above the kitchen but I’m used to very quiet living. The dinner menu was varied and the dishes very well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A shame the breakfast pastries were individually wrapped in plastic and the jams and spreads which I understand to limit food...

“We had a lovely big room Yell overlooking the garden. The hotel was peaceful and quiet even though there were some big groups staying. Always plenty of hot water and heating which was needed after being in the cold winds at Shetland. Staff very helpful and polite - they helped us book ferries to Yell and Unst. Breakfast and dinner very plentiful - too much for me at times but you can ask for a half portion. Lovely lounge to relax in on an evening. Highly recommend and we hope to be back at...

“We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character.
