“The restaurant whilst I believe not connected to the motel but advertised extensively in the rooms is a disaster . At 8.30 am we went to the restaurant to have a buffet breakfast as advertised on a board just outside the restaurant . Once inside we were told they were not doing the buffet . We ordered our breakfast inc. iced coffee on the menu but were told she did not know how to make iced coffee . At this point there was only 3 other people in the restaurant. We finally got our meal two at a...

“I grew up in the area. It's nice to visit with an "old friend". Easy on the hip pocket, friendly helpful staff and within walking distance of everything you need. Even if I don't require accommodation, a trip to "The Aussie" is a must whenever I travel to Boonah/Fassifern Valley/Scenic Rim!”

“The Hotel is a bit outdated but they still provided a great service. Rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable, which was all I really needed. So if your passing though and need a rest spot this is good. 1min from the local tavern, IGA and Bottle O. ”

“We wanted a quiet overnight stay in the countryside close enough to the Wivenhoe Dam. Woodlands is in a unique and delightful setting on the top of a hill. You need to have reasonable walking ability to enjoy the gardens. Because it was a Monday night we travelled about 5 kms to the Sundowner Saloon on the Warrego Highway for dinner. This added to our happy experience. ”

“Excellent Farmstay for the kids. So many activities to keep them occupied. Creek was beautiful and at our doorstep. Cabins are spread apart so we had privacy and lots of space. Great we could take our dog there also. We will be back again soon.”

“We don't camp. Our friends do. They stayed in the campsite over the road and we stayed in the cabins, getting together around a campfire at night but staying in luxury during the day. Very comfortable cabin, with everything we needed. The bird life is spectacular, and the property has donkeys and Highland cows.”
