“Clean & convenient. Had to pay to park unless a Meecure member which is free and easy so worth doing. Bar not particularly well stocked but room very nice, comfortable and clean. Slept very well, would rexcomend”

“What a lovely hotel! Super friendly staff at check in and in the restaurant. We had dinner there as well, and the food was delicious. We kindly got an upgrade as well. Hotel has been beautifully decorated. Lovely room with a patio. Very comfy bed and pillows. Unfortunately no robes and slippers in the room. And no hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels on. ”

“Nice oldie worldie pub with rooms. Beautiful open beams and vintage style soft glow lighting add to a relaxed atmosphere. The room was a great size clean and comfortable. Its the kind of placebthat has creeky floor boards but you wouldnt expect it not to. Check in was easy and quick, as was check out. All staff friendly ”

“We chose the hotel as it is near Bewl water where our son was test-driving a new hovercraft for HoverAid. It was very convenient and we had a lovely room facing the golf course. W enjoyed our swim in the pool although sadly the floor in the tiny changing area was very wet and dirty - more matting is needed to allow you to walk over wet areas. “Had a lovely stay at Powdermills. This is a real hidden gem - beautiful grounds, comfortable room, friendly attentive staff, lovely food etc Decor a bit dated and tired, but understand due for a refresh soon. ”

“Staff were friendly and the property itself exudes vintage elegance. Unfortunately our room (Room 5 on ground floor) smelt extremely strongly of damp, so we didn't unpack any belongings. Despite opening windows and airing the room, there remained a very strong smell. There is obviously a long-term damp problem with this room which the owners should really get fixed.”

“A lovely stay at a very nice hotel. The room was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge etc are just wonderful. Breakfast was generous and made with excellent ingredients For some reason the whole building is really warm - which will be good for some people and less so for others - but that aside I wouldn’t change a thing.”

“A great two day stay in Kent, mainly to go for a tour on the Balfour Winery. A nice and cosy inn in the English country side, just as it says on the tin. We will be back for more exploring in the future I am sure. ”

“La struttura é ben posizionata. Nei dintorni é pieno di negozi. Si trova proprio sul mare. A 15 minuti circa a piedi c'è la stazione di Hastings da dove si raggiunge anche il centro di Londra. Nel compresso direi che é ottima.”
