“Spacious clean hotel within walking distance of small local shops and restaurants. Quiet location. Room was large and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was great. Small negative in that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. ”

“Our family of four stayed in the family suite that had a king bed and sofa in main area, and then a side bedroom with two twins. It was a great bed arrangement for our family. The bathroom was small and not ventilated nor had a window, and no wash cloths were provided yet towels and hand towels were. The room seemed a bit dated, but it was large (other than small bathroom), clean, and comfortable. It is on one of the main streets in town about a 20-30 minute walk up a hill (not too steep)...

“We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!”
