“Alnwick is navigable on foot, and The White Swan was centrally located. Breakfast was cheerfully presented and the staff went out of their way to help me make a connection at the Almouth rail station two miles away.”

“A very comfortable and well furnished cottage. We were able to cook good meals on an excellent gas range although there are a few bits and pieces of cutlery/crockery that would have made it even better. This was the fifth time we have stayed in this cottage; it is a great place to stay if you want to see many places in the area. We even visited Newcastle (easy if you use 'park and metro') and as far as Kelso in Scotland to see Floors Castle.”
