“Lovely dog friendly stay - staff were all super helpful, friendly and accommodating and the whole place was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Delicious food, both dinner and breakfast, great selection and all arrived piping hot, well presented and 'just right' in terms of timing between ordering and delivery. A couple of constructive points / minor areas for improvement - the pillows were exceptionally firm, the pathway to our room would benefit from additional low level lighting...

“A nice hotel in a rural area. You probably need a car to visit places around. The service was very good and the staff were really helpful. There were few alternatives for breakfast, but the traditional English breakfast was good. The room was quite clean but some dust. ”

“Running Horse is very quaint and cozy. The dini g options are very nice and the service natural and friendly. My husband and my inlaws stayed for only one night and were very happy with the accommodations. The countryside is beautiful.”

“We had a lovely weekend break. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was great with a large steam room,sauna and good changing areas. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety and items you could order. The only issue we had was access to the ev chargers. The hotel did not know the cost of using the chargers, and from the app they did not seem to work. ”

“Large, very clean room. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with great shower. Nice toilet products to use. Plentiful, tea, coffee and biscuits provided as well as a small fridge with bottled water. Attractive restaurant with a good range of menu options. Ate there 2 nights and the food was very good. Some excellent desserts too! Breakfast was also very good and flexible options. All of the staff were very polite, helpful and always happy to offer advice on local area. Their breakfast...
