“Service was very good, and all staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable but I was a little cold in the night, as I like to have the window…which was a French window open a small amount. I had asked for a quiet room and this was at the back of the building, so as quiet as it could be. On a negative the towels which were clean all smelt of chips…..maybe the linen store is near the cooking? For my needs this was a convenient place to stay. “Lovely warm welcome from staff member even though we were late arriving. Lovely late drink in the bar. Lovely (and huge !) room and bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Lovely service. Altogether a really a lovely short stay. (Only minor negative - the wifi was poor to non-existent esp in the bedroom - not a major issue for us, but could have been for some especially as there was negligible mobile reception)”

“Loved the quaint B&B and the very friendly staff. The food in the pub was great. Best Fish & Chips we've had in the UK. Our room was small but comfortable. Glad we had beautiful sunny weather but it made it a little too warm for us in the room, but of course we aren't expecting A/C in a classic building. We love the charm & character and wouldn't have it any other way. ”

“The rooms were very clean and set up for tea/coffee making with fresh milk in the fridge. Brilliant hair dryer in the room too and powerful shower in the bathroom which was spotless. The staff gave us a very warm welcome. We dined in the pub which has an extensive menu choice including a small appetites menu. The food was excellent, very well presented and tasty.
