Hotel sulla spiaggia a Baia di Ha Long

“Absolutely beautiful resort but very little English spoken. Restaurant service was exceptionally poor and food was of very basic quality. The scallops were overcooked to the point they couldn’t even be scraped off the shell and that was after a 1.25hour wait for our meals with only 10 people in the restaurant. The wait at the beach bar was at least 30min each time as the staff were more concerned with their phones and talking to each other rather than serving customers. ”

“Five star hotel / resort with great rooms, view and buffet breakfast. Good indoor and outdoor pool and gym which closes at 7pm unfortunately. Sky Bar and Bamboo restaurant also closed. As the property is located on top of a steep hill, transport is required to local shops and restaurants.”

“I will preface this review with that I went just after Super Typhoon Yagi. The hotel suffered a lot of damage and large parts of the hotel were closed off entirely. I know the resort would've suffered a lot financially because of this, but as a guest I was left a little miffed that I paid full price for part of the experience. I would've been more than happy if the resort recognised a few things were out of order and chucked in a few freebies like a massage or drinks vouchers. After all they had...

“Very very very nice hotel for this price!!!! We stayed at 4hotels this trip and all three of us agreed that this was the very best most cosy we Had and 2other hotel was 5star. Rooms very simple and poor but ok! Pool very nice , Area around hotel view to mountain djungle feeling veeeery nice!!!!! Staff superkind. Good food! Good cleaning. We definetily recommend and supergood price!!!!!”
