Hotel a Ban Thangon

“Comparing same price range and hotel class, the rooms are much smaller in size, the lighting in poor (entrance and walkway to bathroom is dark), the entrance is very large and spacious but only 1 sofa for guests to sit / wait, the staff doesn’t greet guests as they walk in, the cleaning staff still comes in to clean your room even with the do not disturb sign on. Overall there are better same class hotel with better customer service, larger rooms and better overall value for your money.”

“Rooms were some of the best we have stayed in while in Laos. Superb value would be a $500 a night hotel minimum back in Canada. ”

“Very polite, helpful, and welcoming staff. This is a very nice and luxurious hotel in which we very much enjoyed our stay. It looks brand new, the rooms are very spacious and very comfortable. As the hotel was quiet, we were upgraded to an even bigger room with a sofa and desk overlooking the river. The swimming pool area is lovely, big pool also overlooking the river, super clean pool with lots of loungers and a bar. We ended up having dinner on the top floor where there is a very nice roof...

“I don't like it when people smoke inside the building because the smell comes into the room. The towels also smell bad and aren't as clean.”

“It’s an old hotel that’s what makes it charm! I hope they won’t make renovations and destroy the « cachet ». Our room was HUGE, and there were all the equipements that you usually finds in hotel room, and lot of storage. They also installed a little baby bed for us, it was lovely. We didn’t try the pool, so I can’t tell, but the breakfast offered was delicious and more than generous. ”

“L' hotel è molto bello, con piscina e palestra. Il ristorante per la colazione si trova nella strada di fronte. Purtroppo lo staff non ha mai risposto a numerose email inviate per prenotare dei transfer dalla stazione bus e aeroporto. La camera assegnatami, molto bella, era sull'ala in rifacimento, quindi con operai e calcinacci a terra. I portasapone erano quasi vuoti. In compenso la colazione era ricca e la qualità del sonno molto buona.”
