“Excellent pub food and very welcoming staff.The room was quite comfortable once we got it warmed up but some attention should be given to the doors so that they open and close more easily and perhaps add some lighting on the stairs. These are small in the overall scheme of things though. The breakfast at the nearby farm shop was outstanding.”

“Nice, if all you want is a "basic" pub room for the night. There was a good basic pub menu. A respectable sprinkling of locals seem to consider it where they go. Not a lot of "olde worlde charm", but the sheets were clean, the plumbing modern and worked. Good HVAC provision. I'd stay here again. Seemed to be owner/operated- always a plus in my book, and the people we met tried to please.”

We ate in the restaurant each evening and the food was very good. ... Personally, being in Lyme Regis, a little more fish on the menu would have been perfect. We would definately go again.”

“Had a wonderful one night stay with our dog. A lovely place to stay that is independently owned and regained many of its original features. Comfy bed with coffee machine as well as a kettle in the room. Guest lounge if you didn’t want to sit in your room. Breakfast was fabulous and set us up for the day. We will definitely be returning. ”
