“This was the perfect place to explore the landing beaches and cemeteries from. It was so close to Bayeux, also a great town to explore. My kids loved the lofted area, calling it the kid lounge. The gated courtyard means my kids could run around and I didn’t have to worry about traffic. Added bonus- the large trampoline was a hit! Thank you! ”

“The kitchen had more cooking equipment, crockery and utensils than I'm used to seeing in a holiday home. The grounds were lovely, and the location was perfect for walking or driving to the beach every day. The hosts were charming and we felt our dog was very welcome in the house and grounds (often not the case in UK rentals). ”

“We had wanted to visit the British memorial at Ver-sur-Mer and found this property on VRBO. It was exactly as described, clean and well presented. It would be ideal for people with reduced mobility as it is on one level with a generously sized accessible bathroom. The sea is only a short walk away, and the memorial is close by.The concierge service was especially good, and Dominique was an exemplary host. We would happily recommend this property for couples or families as an ideal place to stay...

“This really is a beautiful gite. The standard of quality is really high. The bed was super comfy, everything in the gite worked perfectly and was spotlessly clean and modern. The patio was so pretty and ideal for food and drinks.it’s the ideal location for exploring the Normandy beaches. The host was very friendly and helpful. “My husband and I and our 4 kids stayed here for 2 weeks while we explored the Normandy region. It was the perfect home base. The home was bigger than the pictures look and ample space for all of us. The back yard was perfect for the kids to run around. Fantastic views in every direction. The hosts were wonderful. Would not hesitate to stay here again, what a gem. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. We would book the property again. Valerie and Phillipe were excellent hosts, and very lovely people. The property was immaculately clean and very spacious.
