“Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

“It was our first time in Amsterdam and we were lucky to find Casey and his boat. The accommodation was near enough to the center and Casey was very helpful with tips and suggestions for our days in the city. Plus, you can swim just stepping out of your bed!”

“We had a great stay on the houseboat - highly recommend to anyone considering! Dana was a wonderful host - very easy to communicate with, thoughtful, generous, and very interesting to chat with. She is very knowledgeable about the area and has great suggestions as well as insights on local history. The boat is more well connected to the city center than you'd expect (a short bus ride from the central station and multiple bus options). If we ever visit again we'd definitely stay here again! ”

“We stayed three nights (family of four) in Casper’s boat. The location is perfect, short walk to/from Centraal Station and easy to get to everything within the city. Casper’s communication was top-notch and the accommodations on the boat were exactly as advertised. Highly recommended. ”

“We loved staying on this houseboat! It was spacious and beautifully decorated. I have a weak stomach but the very VERY subtle movement of the boat didn’t bother me, I actually found it soothing. Bring motion sickness meds if you’re worried and you won’t have any issues, I didn’t even need them! I’ll miss it and would definitely stay again!”

“What a treat to stay on this houseboat on the canal. The early mornings and evenings were especially calm and peaceful. It was definitely a great way to experience Amsterdam. In addition, the host was wonderful, it’s a short walk to public transit, plenty of places to eat nearby, or you may just decide to sit on the deck and watch the world go by. ”

“We were very impressed with the host’s communication! The boat has a prime location with the feel of full immersion into daily Dutch life, super quiet nights with close proximity to all of the activity in the city center. The most unique experience either of us have ever had in the Netherlands and most certainly both of our favorite trips! Thank you so much!”

“Casper is a helpful host/owner. He had a great list of recommendations and showed us around the property when we arrived. The studio was nice and a great location to the train station. With a Vrbo, I expect to rent the whole place, just be aware that you’ll have a neighbor that you share a front door with and that the owner has an adjoining door they stays locked. I never felt unsafe but didn’t feel like this was spelled out on the description. The original listing mentioned a hot tub twice,...

“I spent 4 nights with my husband in the home boat of Sander and Marieke. Sander was very kind, gave us all the information about the city, the services, the transports, the restaurants..... Sander and his wife immediately became available through Wathsapp. The boat is very clean, tidy and the bed very comfortable as well as the bathroom. Thank you very much the owners. “Die Aqua Cabin ist für fünf Personen ein wenig klein, aber sehr sinnvoll und durchdacht eingerichtet. Die Lage am Hafen ist schön, leider war dort wenig los. Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, das Restaurant auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Auch in der näheren Umgebung gibt es ein paar nette Restaurants, Tankstelle und Supermarkt, so dass man sich gut versorgen kann. Das beste an der Aqua Cabin ist aber die Lage. Quasi alle Top Spots in Zentral-Niederlande sind in 30 Minuten...
