“The caravan park is in a gorgeous position with unbeatable scenic views over the water and mountains and is tranquil and well run. The very old cottage we hired is adequate but showing its age quite badly. and could do with a refresh. Although it comes with kitchen provisions eg plates saucepans etc they are fairly sparse particularly since the cottage sleeps up to 7. Fridge is large however and quite new. The fully enclosed little area at back is a bonus if you have a dog. Tv works well,...

“Location was lovely, nice walks along the river. ( Spotted a Grey Nurse shark). Enjoyed a meal at the bowls club nearby with discount from the motel. Drove to Port Macquarie and had a lovely time there. Went to the Koala rescue centre too. Room on the small side, had to live out of suitcase due to tiny wardrobe etc. Although there was a microwave, fridge & kettle it was all a tight fit. Try for a larger room. Pleasant staff.”

“Whilst the room was clean and comfortable I was very disappointed that I did not see anyone in reception on my arrival or departure. I was not impressed that there appeared to be no wheelchair access or elevators. The site states 24-hour check-in however on my arrival the door was locked. When I rang the number, I was told I was sent a text message with instructions, but I was not sent a text message.
