However both bathrooms were not so I had to give them a good clean myself. Fern cottage could be really lovely with a competent cleaner and a lick of paint in the kitchen. Despite all this...

“We had a lovely stay at this cottage being 5 adults and plenty of room but may of been a bit pushed if 6 for sitting room but perfect for us. It's a bit way out on single track road and at first was a bit worried about but found perfectly ok by end of holiday. Kitchen was lovely only downside but it didn't affect us a very small ice compartment but luckily we didn't get much frozen food . There are some steep stairs but a great hand rail so not a problem but worth mentioning if you have mobility...

Jack and Jill bathroom accessed from both bedrooms but one of the doors didn't lock properly so if travelling as friends need to know when the other is in the bathroom 😂 Overall really loved it here and would definitely go again ”

“We love this idyllic place, staying in this house twice now with family ranging from 94 to 6. We have loads of living space to have busy rooms with kids to quiet conservatories for adults. The grounds are lovely with lots of open ground to explore, tennis courts, lake, waterfall and river to see.”

“We stayed for a short break of 2 nights. Lovely little cabin at the end of owners' property, not overlooked, very private and absolutely quiet. The only noise came from birds and sheep! In the cabin was everything you'll need such as microwave, toaster and kettle, even one electric hob. Comfy bed and TV with Freeview. Shower of course. No Wifi but my phone worked on mobile data. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business....
