Cottage a Burnsville

“This is a single room cottage. It is clean and nicely decorated. The creek out the back door is peaceful and a pleasant place to sit. The bed was comfortable. The A/C is a window unit and is a little loud, but a lot of times it isn't even needed. It is a very quiet area with only a little traffic going through. It is near the Blue Ridge Parkway, and just a short drive to Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock. Both are great to visit.”

“House was as advertised and previous reviews were accurate. Very clean which is priority 1 for me. Had everything you would need. Additionally, everything listed in the house was there. Host was extremely responsive….normally replied in minutes. We enjoyed staying in the house and walking our dogs in the neighborhood.”

“Just drop your bags and relax. Property is comfortable, clean and cozy. It felt as if we were staying at our beloved family mountain house. It had everything you would need for a restful stay. All we wanted to see and do was a short drive away. We napped, ate, laughed and just enjoyed the time together. “The cottage is very well laid out. The kitchen is very well equipped. Coffee grinder, slow cooker, air fryer, mixer, blender. Lots of dishes glassware and silverware. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and listening to the birds. It was a very relaxing week.”

“Tucked away on a quiet hillside, this tiny cottage was so peaceful and had the best water straight from the tap, and we enjoyed a lot of it! It was very clean and we it had about everything we needed to stay a few days. Great Wi-Fi, nice tv, encouraged recycling. The stone steps up to the cottage were beautiful but only for the sure footed. Buddy, the dog, was a friendly greeter, but was always a fence between us. We really liked Buddy!”

“My communication with Carl and Terri prior to and during our stay always resulted in a prompt reply. The TV was tricky to operate, directions would have helped. Location was ideal, easy to walk to downtown. We tried a few restaurants on the list of recommendations and they were very good. We would recommend the cozy cottage to others!”
