Il nido

Passeggia attraverso il cespuglio naturale maturo godendo degli alberi maestosi e dei bellissimi fiori selvatici. Ascolta il suono degli uccelli e osserva i canguri residenti che si nutrono al crepuscolo.

La casa offre quattro camere matrimoniali, tre bagni di cui uno con spa, tutti gli elettrodomestici moderni, una zona soggiorno open space climatizzata e un'enorme sala giochi con tavolo da ping pong.

C'è un grande camino per creare un'atmosfera calda e intima nelle serate più fresche.

"The Nest" è la base perfetta per esplorare le bellezze della regione del fiume Margaret, ma soprattutto un luogo per rilassarsi e distendersi. Questa splendida casa con una magnifica vista sul mare ti dà un assaggio della vita di campagna idilliaca.

"The Nest" si trova a 10 minuti in auto dal famoso centro turistico di Dunsborough e da Yallingup, che consente un facile accesso alle attrazioni di queste aree, ma pace e relax lontano dal trambusto.

Le attrazioni sono molte e varie, con cantine, birrerie, ristoranti, gallerie, arte e artigianato e, naturalmente, lo spettacolare paesaggio aspro, spiagge di surf di fama mondiale e affascinanti grotte calcaree. Ci sono molte attività per i bambini, tra cui equitazione presso la scuola di equitazione Mirravale locale, pesca in spiaggia o charter di barche e osservazione delle balene stagionale.

Le spiagge più famose sono ben note ai surfisti, tuttavia è possibile nuotare in famiglia nell'acqua riparata della laguna di Yallingup. Appena sopra la spiaggia c'è un negozio di surf, un chiosco, una piccola galleria e un parco giochi per bambini.

Consigliamo anche il breve tragitto in auto verso la splendida spiaggia di Injidup, appena a sud di Yallingup alla fine di Wyadup Rd. Questa spiaggia è anche molto popolare tra i surfisti locali, tuttavia di solito è meno affollata. Non ci sono servizi qui, quindi dovrai prendere un rinfresco.

Per gli escursionisti, la pista dall'area di parcheggio di Yallingup lungo la costa calcarea fino a Smiths Beach piacerà, soprattutto quando scende sulla sabbia all'estremità isolata. Una passeggiata di 10 minuti da qui vi condurrà oltre la scuola di surf locale in estate, fino alla spiaggia sicura per il nuoto presso il parcheggio Smith's Beach.

80th birthday Escape at Yallingup
Our family recently had the pleasure of celebrating my father's 80th birthday at an Exclusive Escapes home in Yallingup, WA. The setting was truly perfect for such a special occasion. Nestled among the trees, we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the delightful presence of local wildlife, including magpies, kangaroos, and bright blue wrens. This tranquil environment was appreciated by all, especially my father, who loved the comfort and serenity the location provided.The home itself featured expansive living areas and comfortable bedrooms, making it ideal for accommodating our family gathering. The large open deck was a particular favorite, offering a wonderful space for us to relax and enjoy each other’s company amid the natural beauty of the area.Warm weather is typical for this region, but the house was well-equipped with a large air conditioning unit that easily managed the heat. Bedrooms also had fans available in the cupboards, which were handy for keeping the air fresh overnight. The kitchen was well-supplied, allowing us to prepare meals with ease, and the barbecue offered a fantastic option for outdoor dining.In terms of location, this home provided easy access to nearby amenities. We were just a short drive from the town, beaches, and popular spots like the Wild Hop Brewery. Great location but a little tired
We had a pleasant stay at The Nest, but the house could most definitely do with a renovation or at least some repairs. Many of the vertical Venetian blinds throughout the house were broken which meant the light streamed in at dawn every morning and reduced privacy. The fridge leaked water and the door is only just hanging in there. The kitchen stove was grimy and consequently we had trouble lighting the burners. The carpet in the main lounge room and dining area would greatly benefit from being swapped to something easier to clean and more hygienic in a shared house. The welcome pack was fairly non-existent...previous houses we have stayed had at least some tea and coffee (there was a pod coffee machine, but no pods..), however nothing much here apart from a few cleaning supplies, two tea towels (for a party of 10) and a welcome bottle of wine. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment however, with most items that you could ever hope to need. The location is amazing - super close to everything but still private and isolated...Hot water and good water pressure in the bathrooms..Loved the wrap around verandah. But we thought the tariff was a little high considering the condition of the house and the fact we had to take all our own linen and towels (because we chose not to pay an extra few hundred dollars for linen) Overall an ok stay. The house could be awesome with a few simple upgrades / some maintenance, but if it stays as is, I would look for somewhere else.

We are very happy with our stay at The Nest. We have always loved Yallingup and the setting of this property is just perfect. The house is very clean and well presented. We loved our stay. We will be back again. Some minor suggestions: Perhaps a little more modern deco will improve the interior appearance. It'll also be easier for travellers, esp family who are travelling far, if linen and tolwels etc are included. About staff / office admins - pleasant to work with, efficient and well mannered over email conversations. Thank you.

Large tranquil escape
The Nest is a very large home that fitted our group perfectly. The pictures don't do it justice in terms of spaciousness. Beautiful secluded area, yet close to shops, wineries etc. The house had everything you'd need for a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful, scenic location and great accommodation!
We loved The Nest in a beautiful natural setting! Service was great in all aspects and really appreciated the provision of wood for the fire along with oil heaters in the bedrooms for the cold nights. We would have given a 5-star rating however a couple of safety issues needed attending: the power boards with exposed wires in the downstairs bedrooms and the stair rail needs tightening as it is a bit wobbly, (our group was aged 68+ thus using the rail frequently). We thank you for sharing your wonderful home and we would love to stay again. Gayle

Very needed break
What a lovely setting. From the moment we drove up to the house we all just smiled. Walking up the stairs was amazing the kitchen is massive, I think the bench would be about 5m long. The fireplace kept the top half beautifully warm. The house is huge every room is so big. Our son loved chopping the wood and we all loved the kangaroos. The house isn’t perfect but it was perfect for us. Oh and I loved the laundry shoot and was thrilled to bring all our washing home clean. We will definitely be back.

Staycation at The Nest
Our stay was fantastic. Driving up to the property in the secluded bush, we knew it going to be good. Check in was easy. Walking in was a Wow!! The space itself was amazing. Nice and open with plenty of light in all areas. Very clean all round. Large bedrooms and kitchen area. Loads of veranda space and living areas for chat, play and relaxing. Board games and table tennis provided in addition to TV and CD player. The property is surrounded by bush and kangaroos were close by. This property is a really nice space to chill in. We all highly recommend it and would come back again.

Nested amongst the trees
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at The Nest. It is a very large property in a lovely bush setting containing just about everything you could want in a home away from home.The table tennis table was a hit, and the TV's have been updated from the old "fat backs" in the photos! Something to keep in mind if you're staying there during a period of hot weather, as we were, is that there is only one air conditioning unit for the whole house, situated in the upstairs living room. This made for some fairly uncomfortable nights trying to sleep, even with the multiple pedestal fans provided. The owners should also look at replacing the locks as we were unable to unlock either the front or garage doors with the keys provided, eventually gaining access through the laundry door.

This house is huge and has everything you need as well it’s great layout. Two master bedrooms upstairs and the rest downstairs if you have teenagers that want to stay up later. Big games room with table tennis. Very cosy fireplace

The Nest - great place to stay!
Fantastic place to stay with a large group. Great for children, teenagers and adults. Heaps of space! Stunning location! The place has had a freshen up in the last 12 months and cleaning was significantly improved from our last stay. Great value for money and a fantastic house!

Spacious home but needs work.
It's a spacious property, in a lovely quiet area. Kitchen had everything we needed. The table tennis table was a hit! Bed linen and towels were clean. Home does need a bit of TLC. Wires hanging out of walls and not enough power points, meaning that there are extension cords everywhere. Lots of cluttered dusty decor that needs to be sorted out. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the home needs sprucing up.

Overpriced
Kitchen was not very clean. There was a strange smell in the whole house. A few cans of glen 20 over a number of days helped. The fire was great as was the outdoor area. Beds were comfortable but rooms down stars got very cold with no heating. All in all not worth the price we paid.
