Beautiful 3 bedroom & 3 bathrooms House with Sea view in São Jorge, Açores

Casa Tosca is located in one of the most beautiful Fajãs of São Jorge, on the seafront overlooking the island of Pico.

The space:

The access and use is exclusive to guests and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on two floors: on floor 0 there is a bedroom (two single beds) with bathroom and a small laundry room. On the first floor there is a living room with an open and fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom that supports the living room and a bedroom ((two single beds), and the master bedroom (one king bed) with bathroom.

The house has free wi-fi, satellite TV in the living room and master bedroom, hairdryers in all 3 bathrooms.

The access between the bedroom on the ground floor and the first floor is by an external staircase (please be carefull, and not recommended for children).

Outside, on the 1st floor, you can find a more sheltered patio for meals and another one facing the sea, great to enjoy the view of Pico island and the sunset.

The land at the back of the house has been used for cultivation for social support.

The house has a daily cleaning service, about 2/3 hours, at a time to arrange with the local hostess, Paula. Additional services can be agreed on the spot with Paula.

Casa Tosca is located about 45 minutes (40 km) from Velas airport. Car rental is very important to better enjoy your stay in São Jorge.

The cars are parked on the street in front of the house. The entrance to the house is through a steep footpath of approx. 50 m.

About 150 m from the house you will find a small harbour, great for diving in the Atlantic in front of Pico island.

There is a fantastic trail that crosses Fajã de São João, providing unique hikes along the coast and mountain.

At the entrance of Fajã there is a small cafe / restaurant where you can order light meals or eat on site. About 15 min car drive away is the restaurant O Caseiro, in Topo, serving good local food.

The nearest small grocery store, Café and Mercearia Alves, is about 10 min drive away, in Santo Antão (direction Topo). In Calheta and Velas you will find 2 good supermarkets. These are located close to the airport, about 45 minutes drive from the house, so we recommend that you buy your groceries beforehand.

Absolutely gorgeous!
This house is beautiful and is in the most perfect location. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the sunset and waking up and being able to see Pico island across the ocean from us. Everything is exactly as described.

Ein schönes und gut eingerichtetes Häuschen in einer wunderschönen kleinen Faja an der Südostseite von São Jorge. Auf der Anfahrt gut einkaufen und ein Mietauto sind sehr hilfreich. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Lage sehr gut zum Baden im Meer im Naturschwimmbecken im kleinen Hafen, fußläufig in 3min erreichbar. Wunderbare Sitzecke mit Blick aufs Meer.

Nice little house with a beautiful landscape
We enjoyed our stay at S.Jorge. 4 days was definitively too short. The house was fully equipped with all the stuff you need and even more (housebar, nice gifts). The baths were a little bit tiny but had a big shower. We were 3 people so it fitted perfectly for us. The sea was direct in front of us, the sunsets were beautiful, nice view to Pico - perfect! We would visit it again and had a really nice time.
