It was private with a gorgeous view of the bay, so morning coffee on the front porch provided amazing sights, smells & sounds of nature (including birds & wild flowers along with the bay itself). The home had everything you could possibly need or want, and it was so tastefully decorated and stocked. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend this home.”

“I had been looking at the Old Bonaventure house to host fiends from away who visited over the summer, but it was booked full. When my husband and I decided on a rather last minute getaway before the winter has us holed up in St. John's, we were so pleased that the house was available. “This is a charming cottage for getting away from it all. Secluded and rustic. Wildlife and wildflowers. We enjoy cooking for ourselves during vacations, so the kitchen is a plus. Nearby Montague has two grocery stores, and you can pick up local produce at roadside stands. For the best local food shopping, head to Charlottetown Farmers Market and fish shops. My husband and I have stayed in this cottage twice and plan to return again!”
