“A lovely place to stay in the Welsh Countryside. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly (well, let's face it, aren't most Welsh people?). The breakfast was classy and of excellent quality. I highly recommend this inn for a stay. You won't regret it for a moment. 5 stars all around!”

“**Disappointing anniversary stay** We booked Lanelay Hall over three months in advance for a special anniversary and were looking forward to the luxury boutique experience advertised. We had hoped that booking so far ahead would allow us to be allocated one of the more desirable rooms. Unfortunately, we were allocated Clock Tower 1, an accessible Deluxe Room. “Everything was fine and they were very helpful when Expedia did not send the pass code for the door or tell us our room number. As this site says there were no Hosts available after 5 for check in. WE HAD TO SLEEP IN OUR CAR OVER NIGHT AND WE GOT A PARKING TICKET TO BOOT! I WAS TOLD THAT THIS HAPPENS ALOT WITH BOOKING THROUGH EXPEDIA. WOULD LIKE AN EMAIL TO DISCUSS GETTING REFUND AND COST OF THE TICKET.”
