“We are so happy we stayed at Akwaba Lodge. The grounds are well maintained and we had opportunity to walk around and explore. We loved and appreciated the home made meals, breakfast to get us going with fresh homemade bread and jams. Then dinners, with a couple options to choose from, were delicious. We felt like we were part of the family dining there. The room had all we needed and was cleaned daily. We enjoyed some time just sitting at the table outside our room or relaxing in the hammocks....

“Ich mochte, dass es mitten im Dschungel war und trotzdem in Strandnähe. Es war sehr ruhig dort, bis auf die Affen und Vögel, aber diese erwartet man ja in solch einem Urlaub. David, der Betreiber, ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Mensch und er machte den Aufenthalt zu einem Unvergessenen. Ich habe mich sehr gut erholt.”

“Stayed in the one of the semi-detached bungalows. Very comfortable with an amazing view. Pool was lovely. Loads of Hummingbirds around so it warrants the name! The food in the restaurant was ok but not very memorable but there are 2 alternative options within walking distance - we only tried one which was much better. There's just one option for breakfast which did change every day. As there are no windows you and your neighbours can hear everything. Unfortunately we had a very loud couple next...
