We were well aware that this was inside of the typical timeframe where adjustments to our stay could be made, but the experience we had made us feel undervalued and ignored. There was a complete failure by the host to respond to any form of communication, including multiple phone calls/messages, texts and emails. What if we had been on site, dealing with an issue in our room/unit? The total...

“Excellent one night stay at the BW Boutique Hotel in the Amelia room. We had the house to ourselves and enjoyed the spacious living areas and very well equipped kitchen. Definitely would stay there again!”

“The hotel is under renovation. The rooms were done, but the hotel lobby gutted and covered for painting, etc… No formal breakfast, but did provide muffins, fruit and coffee. It would be helpful if the renovation stage was made clear beforehand. A person has to drive for dining options. Nothing around hotel.”

“This is a classic old hotel that has such charm, great location and a wonderful staff. Room and beds were very nice. The only complaint (for lack of a better word), is a 2nd floor room is hard on older folks carrying luggage up and down steps . Lesson learned.”

“Beautiful view of West Grand Traverse Bay. Crisp clean new sheets of good quality. Table and two chairs in the room created a very nice sitting area plus a comfortable desk chair. Only bad part is that because of the way the fridge and microwave are situated, you cannot see the TV from the sitting area. The TV, by the way, is very nice sized, modern but has no cable TV just free channels. No freezer in the fridge and very limited counter space in the bathroom.”

“The host was very friendly, and was eager to supply us with whatever we needed. The cottage was so cute! It looked almost new, with updated light fixtures, and a wonderfully appointed bathroom. It had a huge jetted tub, as well as a walk in shower, with a nice, high shower head and beautiful tile work. The seating and the bed were very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. Each cottage has its own designated parking space (enough for two cars each!), and there is ample space for boat...
