“Le manoir est superbe ! Belle immersion dans un décor rustique et sans chichi… plaisir à profiter de cet immense jardin entretenu avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. De beaux moments de partages familiaux et de repos au frais avec ce temps chaud ! Plusieurs plans d’eau permettant la baignade on régalés petits et grands. Et enfin un grand merci à notre hôte qui a pris le temps de nous raconter l’histoire de ce manoir et nous donner de bons conseils pour visiter la région.”

“We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much.”

“We have just spent a wonderful fourteen days staying in this impressive place. It was clean, very well equipped and fit for purpose. The courtyard with covered dining area and “plancha grill” for outdoor cooking were a great bonus. An impressive garden and plunge pool was also most appreciated. The host, Jo, was available personally or by phone to answer any questions. Her advice and guidance on local events and places to visit was invaluable. We look forward to returning soon. Ian.”

“Disappointed with the quality of cleanliness on arrival eg BBQ, Oven, Glasses all dirty. Biggest issue however is that it is not a true 2 bedroom, be aware you have to pass through the Master bedroom to access the guest bedroom. In addition to that the Master bedroom is in essence a mezzanine above the lounge so no privacy at all. The downstairs bathroom involves going outside the house, not ideal in the night and also needs some attention eg blind to door missing (again no privacy) and drains...

“This was a lovely week. The three real benefits of this property are the privacy, nobody bothers you, the proximity of the village, It really is 10 minutes walk and its overall situation. Sitting on the south facing patio looking out over the fields was great. We saw an Eagle, hares, deer and hawks. Perfect if you have a dog, especially the stream walk. The house did have a musty smell and a couple of spiders but overall it more than warrants a 5 out of five.”

“Gastheer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en betrokken. Erg prettig. Alles goed aanwezig voor ons behalve keukenbestek en pannen minimaal voor onze samenstelling. Zwembad super en werd goed schoon gehouden tijdens ons verblijf. Door de vele spullen en accessoires leek het lastig schoon te houden. Onbeperkt handdoeken en grote badlakens. Erg fijn dat er wasmachine en droger was met klein kind. Tuin en omgeving piekfijn in orde en sfeervol”

De plus, sa localisation permet de visiter quelques villes très sympathiques à environ 1h30. Nous recommandons de visiter Nanteuil, un joli village à 20 min du gîte.”
