“Although the property is rural its a perfect base to get to lots of places. If you drive then everything you need is virtually on the doorstep! The property is very close to grocery and retail shops with Chester and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet a short drive away. Gary is the perfect host and we loved the personal "meet & greet". “We travelled from Canada, three sisters and two of our daughters, and wanted to enjoy an authentic English accommodation. We found everything we needed with the unique and luxurious Douglas Cottage. Plenty of space for all five of us, with 3 bedrooms (a total of 4 beds that you melted into, my daughter and I shared the queen bed in the master bedroom ) and 3 bathrooms, it was the perfect fit for us and turned out to be less expensive than 3 hotel rooms.
