“Very poor condition, bed mattresses terrible, didn't change towels daily, we did appreciate River view behind hotel. Lots of painting & fixing needs to be done - internally & externally needs to be done. Much too high in price $156 per day. We stayed 3 nights & used 2 rooms - one for friends.”

“Hotel was old but clean. Downstairs where restrooms and ice machine was in disarray with items strewn about the hallway. Suggest keeping work area rooms downstairs doors closed to hide the working mess in process. Enjoyed grounds, ease of parking and breakfast. Would certainly return to hotel if back in Leavenworth.”

“Friends insisted we try , and walking into the lobby felt like stepping off a train in Garmisch. It's been family-run since 1989, and the 16 rooms are filled with Bavarian furnishings imported from Austria and Germany, not the usual tourist kitsch. Having lived in Germany for several years, we caught ourselves slipping into German at the front desk out of habit. We didn't meet the owners, but Donna at reception took wonderful care of us from early check-in through checkout. Warm, efficient,...

“I did not like the room or bathroom. I would not even take a shower in them. The rooms need be updated and bathrooms remodeled. The carpet had a bad odor and we had to air out the room. I wish you put more effort in the inside as you do the outside. The check in staff was helpful. The morning staff was too busy on her phone to even care and could have been a bit more friendly. Otherwise the property on the outside is nice.”
