You can see downtown in BOTH directions while standing in the middle of the living area/bed. The daily breakfast was a nice addition to the stay, as you can choose from several options each day and you are given a tray to take back to your room. “We absolutely loved our stay at the Squirrel Tree! It felt like a real life Hallmark movie with the snow in the Cascade Mountains, the Christmas decorations in the restaurant and the quaint feel of the inn. It was very clean and spacious, and we appreciated the comfy pillows and extra blankets in the closet. The owner is so kind and even walked us up to our room. “They property was clean and comfortable, but there were a few maintenance issues. The stairs to the front deck were wobbly and uneven. The jets in the hot tub didn't work right (but they did say so in advance), and some of the trim and paint inside was chipped and worn. ”
