“The motel is very nice. It is clean and comfortable. The staff was great. It is in a good location about halfway between Harbor Springs and Petoskey, so getting to either place is quick. The only problem I had at all was that the people in the rooms near me liked to stand outside by their cars and talk (which, since it is a motel, was right outside my room) and the walls are a little thin, but I may have just had bad luck on that count, and there is probably not much the motel could do about...

“Breakfast had a good selection, the room was clean but the carpet looked old but no dirt on my white socks. The price is great for the value. The room was quiet the A/C unit was quiet and the hot water was hot. Had more the usual gym equipment that you find in a hotel. So I would definitely go back there and recommended it to my friends. “Room is quaint, nicely decorated. Complimentary beverages and refreshments were a nice touch. Hotel is charming. All staff members were friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in a bit early because the room was ready. Hallway floors are uneven which might be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. Taller guests may need to duck to get into the showers. Overall, an excellent place to stay.”

“My mom & I stayed here 5 nights in mid June and were super happy we did. The hotel was spacious, clean and well-run by very friendly, helpful staff. “This is my new favorite hotel in the region. I was looking for a place that had old-time character and elegance. Terrace Inn had it. There's no elevator and the shower was small, but we expect this from a historic building. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was a huge relief from the heat and humidity outside. “We loved the look and feel of the cabin. It was cozy and we really loved having a fire on those cool, early spring nights. We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys, deer, chipmunks, & squirrels. The Tunnel of Trees was beautiful! Unfortunately we didn't find any Petoskey stones. Maybe next year. The only tiny downside was the traffic noise during the daytime. But we would definitely want to rent this property again!”
