Weekend Getaway

This was the first time that we booked a "house" for the weekend rather than a hotel. What a huge difference in our vacation! I would definitely book this house again the next time we need a place to stay in Coos Bay!

Peaceful family getaway

This is really a home away from home with everything you could wish for. The living and dining room are very spacious, perfect for a family with children. There is a large back porch to enjoy fresh air in summer. Everything is well equipped. We had our family dog with us and there was ample space outside. The area is very quiet and only 8 minutes drive to a state park along the beach. In 5 minutes you are at a local grocery store and a specialty seafood store.

Get Away

Was a great get away with friends. Fully stocked kitchen. We brought our own firewood and really enjoyed the wood stove. Was an amazing trip with friends over the holiday weekend.

Peaceful Slough views with ideal location

This place is ideal for a family get-together. The location is perfect with easy access to Sunset Beach and Shore Acres State Park, as well as the town of Coos Bay. The property was clean and well maintained.

Terrible

This stay was terrible! There was garbage and food under the couch, holes and scratches in the walls, things were being held together by tape, stains all over the carpet, the heater didn't work, the fridge smelt like rotting food and there has been little to no communication about anything. We didnt stay the entire time we had the place because of how awful it was and asked for a refund, we were told they would "check into that" and havent heard anything for almost 3 weeks now since then. If your looking into staying here DONT!!

Beautiful view, house needs some help

The view/deck is stunning. We visit Charleston every year for the 4th of July and husbands birthday and this is the most expensive house we’ve rented and I was disappointed. The weeds are so over grown it makes it look abandon when you pull up. The gutters are so full that there is even weeds growing up out of the gutters. It says it has a hot tub which was a big reason we rented this place. Well, there is a hot tub there, it’s just empty and not useable. The bathrooms are gorgeous. It’s like they started updating the house and stopped….one of the doors is not even trimmed out, the molding on the beam in the living room ceiling stops half way down the beam. The TV is a blue color, so we couldn’t watch tv. The kitchen has the very bare minimums. Not very many dishes. There was 6 of us for a week…couldn’t find extra paper towels or toilet paper as there was only 2 rolls of each, so we had to go buy our own. Same with trash bags. The trash cans outside were already full of trash. I love the area and we had a great stay, it just needs a little TLC.

Dirty Dirty Dirty

Comforter had white crusty stuff on it. We had to wash all bedding on all 3 beds. There was a slug on the dining room floor. Windows had prints on them. Place was dusty. Floors looked like they had not been cleaned in living room and dining room, Lights flickered. Especially in queen bedroom bathroom. Deck chairs and deck not cleaned off. Stuff all over chairs and deck. We had to clean off chairs to sit outside. Roof of the house is growing plants and trees. They did however after reporting the white crusty stuff /dirty and the slug on the floor to them, they lifted the restriction of only 2 cars parking at the house. That was nice of them since we were told we could park the extra car at a public parking area about 10mins or so away from the house. (They told me yes we could park the extra vehicle at the house and that there is 3 places for cars to park at the house)

Family Time

We have family that lives nearby this location, so this worked out really well for us. It was very comfortable, clean, and homey. The deck has beautiful views. The large dining area with table and chairs allowed us all to gather for an evening of pizza and games. It is a quiet neighborhood, so we were comfortable leaving our elderly father alone to rest when he didn't feel like going out with us. We will definitely consider using it for future visits.

Coastal getaway

We really enjoyed the property, very private. Disappointed that the monitor heater did not work, when we walked in it was only 59 degrees on a rainy day. Took several hours to warm up using wall heaters and portable heaters. Maybe supply some firewood in the winter if you know the heater doesn't work. Overall, very nice place, would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the deck!

Thanksgiving Visit

The property met all of our expectations. The view out the back deck was inspiring! Very convenient to the Charleston and Coos Bay areas. The layout worked very well and allowed my family to enjoy the stay. In colder weather the wood stove is a must!

Close to everything we wanted to do. Beautiful views from the deck, clean and quiet house with comfortable furniture. Good Wi-Fi service. Would have liked plastic containers/bags in the kitchen for leftovers. Aluminum foil would have been nice also. The heating system in the living/dining area needs to be updated but we had a wonderful time in Coos Bay.

Nice size house however...

This house was a Vacasa rental...not Vrbo. It is good size, decent view, however....couldn't get cable to work. Messaged Vacasa agent for assist and they responded....the next day while checking out. Because no AC we assumed a fan?? Nope. Bedrooms have no breeze or airflow... hot as hell. The neighbors dog barking at 7:00am....delightful. but the couch was comfortable.

Bay View Get Away

Liked the location in a forested area, overlooking the bay, was serene and beautiful. The house is lovely, with well stocked amenities. Enjoyed the having it close to Charleston and Coos Bay. Planning on returning soon.

Great stay

Very nice house and great view. Loved the bathrooms and the spacious living room. They do only give you one roll of paper towels and two rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom which for a weekend with 6 girls was a little weird. Other than that it was a great place.
