“Stunning views everywhere on this gorgeous property overlooking Banderas Bay. It was peaceful and quiet and never seemed crowded. There was none of the “chase for chairs” around the pool that resorts seem to be plagued with and plenty of towels as well. The only negatives were as follows: 1. While it was very pleasant to sit on our deck, the chairs provided were hard and uncomfortable 2. It was impossible to find a full menu with price list. “The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the private beach. I would have liked to have more on property activities. They had a lot of exercise classes, but would have liked something fun instead of the same things everyday. Nothing after dinner until the disco at 10:30.I didn't feel like the activities girls were excited about getting out and getting people to join in. ”

“Barcelò was gorgeous! The scenary around the resort was very beautiful. Food at the Italian was delicious along with Spanish. Steak house was a bust! Service around the resort by servers was good along with the cantina. Beach and ocean were gorgeous and very quiet. Boat traffic wasn’t to terrible either. Would recommend this hotel to anyone! ”
