“We loved our stay at Pura Vida Ecolodge. Perfect accommodations for our two couples. Excellent pre-visit packages with lots of information about the property and the surrounding area. We hiked the "hundreds of white steps" trail and it turned out to be 614 steps-give or take-each way. Gersan and Illiana were fabulous! The road is a challenge so believe Joe when he says you need 4WD!”

“Nice property just just minutes up the hill from Uvita. We had rented a Rave 4 and spent a few days in Santa Teresa and Arenal before going to Uvita. Got a message from Andrea saying to make sure our vehicle had a 4 wheel drive button or it wouldn't make it up the hill. Decided to change vehicles to a Toyata Land Cruiser Prado. Good thing we did. “Superb property up on the Uvita mountains. As long as you have a 4x4, getting there is a fun ride. Staff was great and the spa facilities are really nice. The only thing keeping me from returning for a whole remote work week is the internet speed. It was spotty and not reliable for a prolonged work stay.”
