“By far, this is the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed at. The owner is a great communicator and helped us get our trailer we were towing stowed away so we could enjoy our time in Savannah. While the photos of the boathouse are nice, they do not do justice to just how beautiful the place really is. You just have to stand in it, believe me. The kitchen is very well-appointed and we had 3 meals in during our two night stay. We drove only 13 minutes to get to the Savannah visitor's center parking...

“We really loved Duckies Cottage! It is very cute and comfortable, well-located, and has comfortable beds. It'd be a squeeze to try to fit 6 people here but we had 4 quite comfortably.”

“Clean, great communication with host and great for two friends checking out Savannah. We walked everywhere and its location worked wonderfully. The only issue was the garage door is loud and the group staying in the main house left early and woke us. They had breakfast in the courtyard that woke us as well. “Once we dealt with the bird (that was inside stuck beside the stove) and the pests coming in, it was a very good stay. One suggestion would be to install weather striping around the doors to minimize pests (bugs, flies, bees, etc.). Otherwise, thumbs up.”

“My son and I stayed at the Blue Dolphin house while attending weekend wedding festivities with family. We had planned on a larger group but the hurricane and other circumstances changed who was able to travel. I let Patty know and she was responsive and kind regarding our change in circumstance. The cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed for a stress free stay. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others. Thank you Ed and Patty for a lovely place to stay on...

Also very close to Sea Wolf, where we had great Tybee Salt Bombs (local oysters) and gourmet hot dogs. Highly recommend. ”

Had issues with the hot tub upon arrival but the owner was super responsive and fixed right away. The house electrical is older so not as easy to control the hot tub and figure out the lights with many light switches. “This place exceeded our expectations! I loved how quiet and intimate it was! It felt like we were walking through a secret garden each time we came back or left. We would absolutely reserve this place again! It is conveniently located to everything! The place was clean, well decorated, and had modern amenities while still embracing the historical charm! The only critique I would give is the need for a washer and dryer, that would have made it perfect! We'll definitely be back!!”

“Loved my stay during the off season. It was quiet and relaxing. The property is well maintained. It's right next to Driftwood Beach which was nice when catching the sunrise on the beach. Your can also watch the sunrise from the deck chairs on the pavilion. I would stay at this location again.”

“Great place to stay, convenient to most things to do in Historic Savannah, almost everything we did was within walking distance. The only thing we had trouble with was seating for a night we stayed in, living room area wasn’t set up good for a place that sleeps 6 to 8.”
