The Bungalow at Eagleville Lake Under 3 miles to UCONN!

UCONN parents take note; only 2.8 miles to the campus!

Spend some time at the newly renovated Bungalow, offering 2 queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa, state of the art kitchen and large open living area overlooking the lake. The Bungalow has a chef's dream of a kitchen, with it's soapstone countertop, generous spice selection, coffee bar, small appliance cabinet and griddle/gas range.

The large open space lends itself to enjoying friends and family, all overlooking the tranquil lake. Enjoy a drink on the deck, go for a hike/walk, or have a wonderful day of kayaking and/or paddleboarding. We offer two tandem kayaks, two single kayaks, and a tandem stand or sit paddleboard for your enjoyment. You can paddle for miles in the lake or up the Willimantic River. Keep an eye out for turtles! Bring a fishing pole and bait and reel in a large or small mouthed bass! (Fishing Permit required )

If fishing and kayaking are not your thing, we have tons of outdoor games. Cornhole, horseshoes, badminton, and volleyball, just to name a few! In addition, there are miles of walking trails starting right down the road.

Coventry is known for its antique shops and restaurants. Once you've shopped 'til you've dropped, head back to The Bungalow to enjoy the firepit. Share a few stories and a few drinks. Once you are ready for bed, you will be sleeping on hotel quality beds and linens.

Awesome Place tor a Cozy Home Away from Home!
We absolutely loved this home! We stayed there for a few days while visiting our daughter who is an athlete at UCONN! We hosted a team dinner for the girls and it was such a lovely time! Lisa had EVERYTHING we needed to be able to serve a huge make your own pasta dinner with apps and dessert. The kitchen is more well stocked than my own home with bowls, beautiful serving dishes and utensils. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The girls all said that they did not want to leave and wished they could have a sleepover because it was so warm and inviting. Lisa even went so far as to have an extra folding table for us to use for the dinner. The beds were comfy also! We were there during very snowy weather and Lisa was more than willing to let us have a few hours later check-out so we could avoid the icy roads. We were so relaced and comfortable the entire time. We will be back and will book well in advance because I have a feeling this is a hard spot to book during the peak times on campus! Do not hesitate and book this home!

We had a lovely time there. The place was super well equipped with all the things you might need, beautifully maintained and peaceful. The access to the lake was great and we used the fire pit outside. Even though it was winter, it was a lovely view and great place to enjoy non screen time with family.

Surgery recovery for daughter - UConn volleyball
The house was clean and perfect location for us. The owner had more than enough amenities and offered help in whatever questions I had. We plan to stay here on the regular now for visiting our daughter during her next 3 years.

Great place on the lake!
What a gem this cute house was on the lake! The owners didn’t skip a beat with the attention to detail. It had everything and was so clean. Communication was spot on. We will definitely book again the next time we come to CT! We already miss waking up with coffee and watching the sun come up over the lake.

All around magnificent!
This enjoyable property lives up to and beyond its listing. The location and amenities make for an enjoyable, carefree stay. I can’t say enough about the ease of the process and access to everything and anything that one could think or expect for a “home away from home”. The proximity to the university made getting to activities extremely easy, as well. I will return to this property when I return for more UCONN fun! Wonderful, well appointed getaway
We had a very relaxing stay at the Bungalow. Communication with Lisa was perfect and we greatly enjoyed kayaking on the lake and sitting on the back deck in the evenings. The house decorations and lighting encourage relaxation and the beds are very comfortable. We definitely recommend the Bungalow at Eagleville Lake and look forward to returning in the future.

Lovely, Perfect, Wonderful Bungalow in CT!
My spouse and I stayed in the Bungalow and were completely awe struck as soon as we walked in. From the natural light, to the lovely nice touches of the décor, to the cleanliness, comfort, and VIEW, everything was just perfect. The owners have truly thought of everything! As someone who cooks while staying somewhere sometimes it can be frustrating to not have a good knife, Tupperware for leftovers, general spices, etc. but not here! I was delighted to be able to cook a full 4 course meal in the gorgeous kitchen. If staying, be sure to visit the Farmer's Market on Sunday's from 10-1 to get all your goodies! Everything was comfortable and clean, but the view takes the cake! It was so lovely to sit and bird during the day, and then have a fire at night. I cannot praise this home enough for your next getaway to CT!

My kind of place to stay
Staying at The Bungalow at Eagleville Lake was the best choice ever! Lisa is an extraordinary host. She's very kind and sweet and responded quickly whenever we needed to talk to her (on extremely few occasions). I loved the bag and the cups she left us as a gift as well as the chocolates with marshmallows for the smores. The house has everything you need (outdoor and indoor games, full kitchen, washer, dryer, hair dryer, among other things) and is perfectly organized and neat. It's surroundings, the birds, and the lake gives you a peaceful feeling and the coziness in the inside, it's decoration, and comfort, invites you to stay all day long without leaving. I loved The Bungalow and will definitely stay again. Thank you Lisa for a great place!

Best lake house ever!!
My family and I rent lake houses every summer. This was by far the best one we’ve stayed in yet. The communication from the property owner was fantastic! Everything in the house was immaculate and organized. In previous trips we have had to bring our own towels, linens etc. but at this property everything was provided. Lisa even added personal touches that my family appreciated:) It was the first time my daughters asked if we could return to the same property at a later date. Having a teen and a pre-teen, that is a joy to hear. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

What an amazing place and host!
This place was spotless, and the location and amenities can not be beat! Gorgeous water view, so many wonerful kitchen tools and access to a spectacular grill! So many fun outdoor games and "water vessels" to use. The host was SUPER responsive when we needed her. Thank you!

Lake House
The Bungalow is well equipped with outdoor activities, kitchen essentials, and an assortment of items to make guests comfortable. Unfortunately, throughout our stay, we did have an issue with dozens of small ants and a few other bugs inside the home. The host, Lisa, was very responsive and attentive, assuring she would call her exterminator to resolve the problem. Overall, it was evident that the lake house was designed to welcome guests. The decor is beautiful and the intentional little touches did not go unnoticed!

Relaxing Family Vacation by the Lake
We are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys who loves the outdoors especially fishing. The Bungalow is absolutely perfect. It’s peaceful and a wonderful place to have a nice relaxing vacation. The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And when I say EVERYTHING, I mean everything from kitchen appliances, outdoor activities and outlets everywhere - that’s one detail you never truly appreciate until you need it. We booked it initially because it’s lakefront and it’s fairly close to six flags New England (50 mins) where we have membership. So, the entire vacation was planned around that and fishing but we definitely want to go back and enjoy what the property has to offer and explore the surrounding towns more. Plenty of antique shops, nearby brewery and restaurants. It’s only less than 10 mins to UCONN and that downtown area has more restaurants and grocery store (even an Asian market). Lisa is an incredible host. I’ve been renting through VRBO for years and she is the most attentive host we’ve ever had. She definitely deserve the premier host title. She checks in on us ever so often to make sure we have everything we need and she responds immediately. We will definitely be back. We absolutely love it.

Home away from home
The photos do not do this home justice! We were in search of a much-needed R&R vacation and this was the perfect place to unwind for our annual cousins trip. Robert and Lisa have done a wonderful job renovating this home, from the decor; bedding; towels; linens; well-stocked kitchen appliances and games; in addition to the outdoor activities - there is nothing you will need that Lisa and Robert haven't thought of. We enjoyed kayaking and spent a day visiting the antique stores close by. This was truly home away from home. Peaceful, relaxing and extremely comfortable. Anniversary Getaway
Our week stay at the Bungalow was exactly what we needed to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary. We were able to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the peacefulness of the setting by the lake. The bungalow is beautifully decorated and provided everything we could have wanted and more. We were impressed with the cleanliness, the comfortable beds and the special touches throughout. Lisa was a thoughtful and considerate exceptional host. She kept in touch when appropriate and offered helpful suggestions for places to shop and eat. When we weren’t relaxing at the Bungalow, we enjoyed exploring the local area. We hope to return and would highly recommend the Bungalow at Eagleville Lake.

Wonderful stay!!
We booked this for my son’s UConn graduation.My family of 4 stayed and it was perfect!! The Bungalow is clean and meticulously decorated! We felt so at home and it had everything we needed. All the nice touches like water and complimentary bag were very generous. I would definitely recommend to all!
