“What a lovely art deco maintained hotel! All fitted out in appropriate style. We didn't eat there, but the food smelled terrific when we arrived in the late evening. Very friendly staff and a most comfortable room. Loved the residents' sitting/dining room upstairs.”

“Staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation I had was in good condition and had all I needed for my stay. My Doggie enjoyed his time but unfortunately it rained a lot. The only thing was that the internet was not the best.”

“Cosy standard motel room with a little balcony. Clean, but a little dusty, but not an issue. There's a pool, though didn't have time for a swim. Didn't see any staff, it's a call & get door combination number, hence the low score. All in all, not bad, would stay again ”

At reception greeted by shuffling, man clad in a food stained singlet advertised photos were 10 years out of date and gave us false impression. We had paid online, but found another motel $20 cheaper which was clean, spacious. It was worth having to pay twice. ”

“Service was terrible at the Peninsula. To be charged a $50 fee for someone who was on site to let us in our room at 8:30pm when we returned from dinner was an absolute rip off. Could understand if it was late at night and if someone had to travel to the motel to let us in. But this wasn’t the case and I feel we were completely ripped off by this fee. The receptionist was on site. We’d accidentally locked ourselves out of our room, it was not intentional. There’s no information about a $50...
