Only a short walk to old town, but my two cents you want to be here and have the view. The only suggestion if your taking a taxi or ride to apt do not use address given. “Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte, per fortuna, a primo acchitto molto bello poi doccia rotta, pulizia scarsa e sopratutto colazione indecente, vompresa di scarafaggio. L'unica cosa buona era che si trova praticamente al centro della citta storica.”

“This is a beautiful hotel - the views are stunning and the people delightful. Diana particularly could not have made us feel more welcome or do enough for you. It is further out of Dubrovnik than we had anticipated so probably best to have a car even though driving into the old town in the height of summer is not recommended. If you want a peaceful break, with excellent food (but be aware that you eat what they have on the day - I loved that, albeit expensive, but some may find that restrictive)...
