“I had seen some not so good reviews and was a bit skeptical, but this place is a little gem. It was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and professional, it was quiet and very well appointed. It's a great location and has a lovely view over the inlet (when the tide is in). We really enjoyed our stay. There is a great pub/restaurant right next door and the downtown area of Sechelt is about 1km away. Would recommend it anytime.”

“Excellent hostess Lili - a wonderful Soul. The breakfasts provided delicious. The Davis Brook Retreat such a serene place for rejuvenation. We spent majority of our time on chaise lounges in the back yard listening to the song birds and wind chimes. A wee disappointment was the pool not really heated. Nowhere in website did it say pool not heated. Managed to get into pool once but not for long - rather cold. Did use hot tub once also. Overall a lovely stay. Will go again.”

“Room was clean and spacious, was pleased that the kitchenette had enough basic kitchenware, pots and pans etc that we could make dinner and breakfast. Location is lovely, across the street from the public market and the harbour. We went for long evening and morning walks along the harbour. Very nice place to stay! Bathroom is newly renovated and very modern, but one thing about the shower is odd. The shower door is installed in such a way that it would be nearly impossible for a larger person to...

“Cute place to stay, where you have a very cozy bed in a private room with your own washroom and mini kitchenette. The living area is shared with other guests, as is the hot tub. The property is in a quiet residential neighborhood, and is the bottom half of a house, with the owners upstairs. The view over the bay was lovely as well!”

“The Grounds, the walkway, the views were all amazing. But I didn't like the spinach in the fridge, the corn behind the toilet, the hair on the ground or the bed, I really did not like the smudges and dirt on the couch nor did I like the popcorn under the fridge and the wardrobe. The dead bugs were somewhat acceptable because that could happen at anytime but honestly I will never go back to that place. It was the price of Four Season's or a Fairmount and was dirtier than a motel 6.”
