Near the Louet River, in the charming hamlet of Mantelon, this house with blue shutters will delight you with its calm and green setting.
This old house with exposed terracotta tiles and beams has a fitted kitchen with dining area and a living room with television and working fireplace promising you warm winter evenings. On the ground floor, there is also a toilet and a washing machine.
By taking the stairs, you will go to the bedroom with a 160x200cm double bed with direct access to the outside, then to the upper floor to the very bright mezzanine which serves the shower and the bathroom with toilet. The particularity of the cottage: the shower opens directly onto the mezzanine and the bathroom with sink and toilet is just opposite (see photos).
The mezzanine can accommodate 2 additional people but it does not have blackout blinds to plunge the room into total darkness.
Outside, the fully enclosed garden is ideal for relaxing (parasol, garden furniture, electric plancha, deckchairs).
For your comfort, the beds are made on arrival and bathroom linen is provided. Lighten your suitcases and fully enjoy your stay in this cottage!
Right next to the cottage passes the GR3 which follows the Loire from its source to its estuary offering you a diversity of landscapes: vineyards, floodplains, forests, bargemen's villages, troglodytes... Nature and heritage lovers will be delighted. Béhuard Island is a 10-minute drive and 1 hour 15 minutes on foot.
The cottage is located 15 minutes from the A87 and 25 minutes from Angers and the Terra Botanica plant park, you can park your vehicle right in front of the cottage, near the gate.
5 minutes from the cottage, take the Loire wine route and the Angevine cornice to admire a breathtaking panorama of the entire Loire and Louet valley, and don't forget to stop at a wine estate to taste some of the region's wine. You can also stop at one of the restaurants in Chalonnes sur Loire or spend an evening in a guinguette.
