“Great find, food was very nice Staff were lovely and very helpful. Restaurant was busy so must have a good local reputation. Sat in bar after meal on some lovely leather sofas with a beer chatting with other residents. Bed was very comfortable and slept well. Breakfast great- perfect fuel for a day of hiking. We will be back the staff were so nice and welcoming Thank you”

“Surreal surroundings, little river next to the hotel making a very nice soundtrack, very characteristic decor, with fireplaces, christmas feeling and good food in their pub The room was spacious enough with an old but lovely canopy bed”

“The room wasn't particularly clean, but it was fine. The w.c. it was spoiled and stained. Every time I took a shower the whole room flooded (you have to keep the curtain inside the tub to limit the leakage). Slight unpleasant smell when I entered the room. All in all, it's not the worst, but I was expecting something more from a 4 star Hotel which is also a wedding venue. I'm writing about the HOTEL, Maybe the restaurant and the spa are better as like they looks in the pictures.”

“ A fabulous build converted in to a great hotel located in the historic Catherdral quarter. We had a junior double at the back for one night. Super quiet comfy bed and fab shower and bath. Definitely recommend. Located near some great old historic pubs,art galleries the amazing Museum of Making and the Cathedral.”
