“This is a lovely room, set in tranquil and beautiful setting. The family that owned it were lovely and did whatever they could for us. The log fire was fantasic to sit next to as we ate a meal that competed with the 5 star buxton crescent we were at the night before. “We had a lovely stay at The Pig of Lead last week. The whole experience was great, from the warm welcome, the superbly comfortable room to the delicious breakfasts. It is a great base from which to explore the area, I can’t recommend it highly enough. ”

“The room wasn't particularly clean, but it was fine. The w.c. it was spoiled and stained. Every time I took a shower the whole room flooded (you have to keep the curtain inside the tub to limit the leakage). Slight unpleasant smell when I entered the room. All in all, it's not the worst, but I was expecting something more from a 4 star Hotel which is also a wedding venue. I'm writing about the HOTEL, Maybe the restaurant and the spa are better as like they looks in the pictures.”
