“Loved the room and the view, staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. One issue was that there was a wine stain on the carpet beside the bed, I reported it to the cleaning staff as I didn’t want them thinking it was our fault. They cleaned the room each day but did nothing about the stain on the carpet. The other issue was the water pressure, there was a lovely big bath but it took an age to fill up”

“Great hotel and lovely stay. It is on an estuary along a narrow lane (single track in parts) and nearest town/shops a good 30 minute walk with some extremely steep parts to climb, so not for the less able in my opinion. However, a great spot to visit other pretty places if you dont mind relying on your car daily. ”

“Stayed here for a couple of nights over a long weekend and was very impressed. The rooms are very nice, clean and well decorated, accessed via a small flight of stairs around the back, away from any noise of the pub main building. Plenty of guest car parking, very good food and drinks at decent prices and friendly helpful staff. would stay here again and recommend to others. Excellent choice form the breakfast menu and it was all good.”
