“All the staff we came in contact with were all so friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was excellent, parking was free which is something you don’t find very often. Only issue is the swimming pool changing rooms, one shower, one changing cubical so not practical if busy. Overall tho I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Torquay, we would defo stay again ”

“I have to say that it was the best nights sleep my wife and I have had for a very long time. Jack I think was worth a special mention he catered for us exceptionally well at reception and in the restaurant. The receptionist at the spa was also very friendly and helpful. ”

It is on an estuary along a narrow lane (single track in parts) and nearest town/shops a good 30 minute walk with some extremely steep parts to climb, so not for the less able in my opinion. However, a great spot to visit other pretty places if you dont mind relying on your car daily. ”

“Stayed here for a couple of nights over a long weekend and was very impressed. The rooms are very nice, clean and well decorated, accessed via a small flight of stairs around the back, away from any noise of the pub main building. Plenty of guest car parking, very good food and drinks at decent prices and friendly helpful staff. would stay here again and recommend to others. Excellent choice form the breakfast menu and it was all good.”
