“The room was nice and big. The place was quiet which we appreciated. We had to check in late and left early, therefore communication with front desk was simple. The hotel however is stuck in a time warp and brought back memories of our childhood in the 1990s. ”

“I loved the fireplace lodge feel! It was great until I sat on the bed! It squeaked like Grandma's old bed. Terrible! Glad my husband wasn't with me. I was too loud all by myself, tossing and turning on the Terrible mattress.”

“I have stayed at Telemark before. I did not realize that some units have full kitchens with oven, and other units have kitchenettes (no oven). Staff is very responsive and helpful A+. Unit decor is dated but place is very clean. You can use pool at another hotel nearby. ”

“My husband, our dog, and I just returned from another relaxing long weekend at the Fancy Fireflies cabin, and as always, it was absolutely wonderful. We've stayed here a few times over the years, and each visit feels like a cozy retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The tiny cabin is so charming and peaceful. We especially love the location. We’ll definitely be back again soon!”

“Our stay in Hayward at Birch Point was very comfortable. Bed allowed for great sleep. Coffee good. Towels soft. great view of lake. Just what we were looking for was a place to stay that was clean and reasonably priced. ”

“Property is a newly remodeled small home bordering a wilerness "zoo". The backyard gives you large access to the white tale deer which is very nice. Everything you would need is located in the home and outside for a fun trip. You are within walking distance to a bar and grill also. Located just outside the city of Hayward. The only things that we didn’t like: bathroom is very tiny and the tap water smells and tastes of what I assume is sulpher. Owner does leave an unopened gallon of bottled...

“the room was clean but in need of some updating and minor repairs such as new caulking in bath/shower area. I was in a room that had the bars in tub area for easier access and a higher toilet that I liked plenty of room in both bathroom area and sleeping area. Food served there was good but a bit pricey. It was located in a good central area to access to other places of interests”
