“We booked here for one night, but we were left stranded by the airline, so we stayed for three nights: It has been a beautiful experience, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, they helped us in every way they could. The place is quiet and charming, the garden beautiful, breakfast is rich, and we enjoyed the view on the lagoon and the free kayaks. Very good value for money, if you are looking for tranquillity.”

“The resort is absolutely beautiful with stunning water views on the bay, beautifully maintained tropical gardens, and cute tropical "fare" bungalows. You have the choice of swimming in the pristine sea or in the lovely swimming pool. The staff is so dedicated to helping you have the best stay and the manager is very helpful. We'll come back. ”

Sono stata contenta della scelta fatta perche' pur non essendo un resort sul mare l'albergo si trova vicinissimo alla citta' e offre la possibilita' di fare tutto quello che nell'isola c'e' da scoprire... Il servizio e il personale sono eccellente.”

“Hotel grazioso, confortevole a due passi dal mare . La zona non è adatta alla balneazione (praticamente l'acqua della laguna non è proprio limpida) e arrivare al centro città occorrono più di 20 minuti a piedi e di sera l'illuminazione è parecchio scarsa. Praticamente è un hotel utile per una o due notti di passaggio. ”

“Showing its age but is clean and reasonable price staff are all great and friendly. Can kayak on lagoon which is free, but snorkeling andswimming not advised apparently due to pollution in lagoon good pools for the kids.”

“We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Restaurant with beautiful views and great breakfast serve - the thursday chef buffet is definitely recommended. The staff were absolutely amazing my 3 year old loved the attention from all the staff from his babycino in the mornings to his daily catch ups with William...

“We had the deluded waterfront villa. It was really lovely, sitting in the deck overlooking water was just beautiful, we could see starfish and sea cucumbers in the crystal clear water of the lagoon. Only downside was no signal for TV, maintenance changed the TV as everything was in Chinese, but still no signal. Only a minor hiccup as we were on holiday, not there to watch TV. Fully self co tai ed with washing Mach and dryer, instructions again in Chinese but I worked it out. Air conditioner...

“We had a fantastic stay at The Savannah. Our waterfront villa was lovely and very comfortable. The staff are all warm and welcoming and catered to all our needs. The resort has many activities included in the price and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend for a couples getaway. ”

“The highlight is the fantastic reef snorkelling at a nearby beach - about a 30 minute walk from the resort. The staff and local community were very welcoming and happy to have a chat and show you around. However probably don’t go if you are bothered by getting too close to nature - i.e rats in your room - as the resort is in the bush and rooms are ‘rustic village’ style and reasonably open to the elements. I liked it but didn’t sleep much! ”
