“Great location a minute's walk from the beach. Room clean and had all the usual amenities. Decor a bit past its best and road noise quite loud during the day as the room faced the main road through Orewa. ”

“Stanza abbastanza grande e comoda con piccolo angolo cottura dotato di microonde. Pulizia regolare. Colazione all'inglese a buffet nella birreria attigua. Parcheggio molto comodo. posizione un po' decentrata rispetto alla spiaggia, ma in auto si risolve in pochi minuti.”

“This motel looks quite scruffy from the outside but the unit itself had been refurbished and was quite spacious. Excellent beds and linen, but threadbare towels and no salt and pepper. A mirror by a powerpoint is needed for drying hair as the hairdryer can't be plugged in the bathroom. A handy location close to the beach and shops and surprisingly quiet at night.”

“The property met our requirements. Disappointed no one there to let us in as our UK mobile wouldn't connect. Thanks to another guest help we got through to get code to accommodation and gate.”

“Il lodge é annesso all'ottimo pub storico con giardino estivo affacciato sul fiume. La camera era piccolina ma completa di frigo e immancabile kettle, unico neo é che la finestra dava proprio sul parcheggio interno del lodge (che è condiviso con il pub... Schiamazzi comunque limitati). Posizione nel bellissimo centro storico del paese, proprio sul fiume”

“Shouted the hubby one night away without the kids. Only an hour away from where we live. Amazing view, so nice & peaceful. Only downfall was the driveway to the place was narrow & we could not see upcoming vehicles approaching around the windy roads. The meals were overpriced a three course dinner (small portions) was $118 & breakfast was a-lot more. Otherwise overall a nice short getaway.”

“Very friendly people run this motel and enjoyed my stay, I recommend a stay here if you are in this area .A visit to the east beach was excellent also recommended. But this motel is out of town but close enough, probably better than ones in town.”

“Super Unterkunft mit hervorragendem Service und Ausstattung, wir fühlten uns zu Hause. Alles picobello sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und sorgte für alles. Wir bekamen nachmittags sogar frisch gebackenes Bananenbrot. Wir hatten eine tolle Aussicht auf Snells Beach. Beste Unterkunft, die wir in Neuseeland hatten ”

“This was our first long stay in Omaha and really enjoyed it!! The bach doesn’t want for much, the only things we raised with the fabulous owner was…- the wifi was very weak and an extender could resolve this- the bed is super comfy but on rollers on a concrete floor ao coasters would remedy this!All in all a safe and private location which we loved! Thank you”

The owners make sure you get a great car park out front and the area aside from the beautiful beach has a bunch of scenic walks.
