“We will be back..this hotel was very friendly.easy to park outside and the rooms are amazingly comfortable. Tea/coffee facilities with fresh milk in fridge in room and whisky all in the service. ”

“The room was a good size and we were lucky to be facing the loch. Looked to be have been updated recently. All the staff were excellent, especially in the restaurant. I would suggest you have a look at the water pressure for the showers though. I'd look to stay again if I was heading to Stranraer ”

“Excellent in every respect. Superbly friendly with a responsive and caring host. Room first class with comfortable beds & ample towels. Lovely setting. High class food. Only minor issue is breakfast is only served after 08.30 - not ideal if you want an early start.”
