“We planned the booking for the pool but it was cold, the floors were slimey, the water was foggy and the hot tub was out of order. My granddaughter was extremely disappointed. I wouldn’t have booked had I I is that the pool was in that condition.
The room was ok but very noisy with the pool there.
The one gentleman in the evening was very nice”

“Neglected and noisy hotel. The curtains were stained with blood. There is no air conditioning which came from the ceiling but cold or hot air which was produced by a fan coil on the ground under the window which if you have to operate it is extremely noisy and raises the dirty curtains. At 4 am the bathroom started making an intense noise, with a frightening vibration and at very high decibels. The lady at the reception refused to come and check the terrible noise. “Met or exceeded every expectation. Not sure if I got some kind of super-secret deal, but this hotel delivered FAR more than I expected for the very reasonable price I paid.
I travel to the Detroit area on business multiple times a year. I don't know how I never had this place come up on my list before. It will definitely be a "go-to" for me in the future.
BIG place. Really much larger than most Best Westerns. A few miles out -- but close enough to downtown to be reasonable for daily...

“Close to the airport. Make sure you speak with the front desk about shuttle set up to the airport. If you fly into Detroit and go wait for your shuttle to arrive-It won’t. You need to have that set up with the front desk. Don’t try to do it when you arrive. It won’t happen. Do it in advance and be aware the numbers to the front desk are difficult to locate. I finally had to skip the shuttle and use Uber. Now I know. Call way ahead.”
