“Kyle checked me in. He was very knowledgeable. He offered me multiple parking passes. Which was a great help. My son stayed at another hotel and he would check in on me. He said he may book next year with The Grand. We watched the parade of custom antique cars from our balcony. I had a great view. The toilet in the room wouldn’t flush and I called the front desk and they sent someone up to fix the problem. The power went out and the hotel went dark for a short time but no fault of their own. “The building is under construction so I was worried about choosing this hotel, but the new rooms are wonderful. It can only get better.”

“Ok hotel but nowhere near the high reviews it received. I had 3 towels with hair stuck to them until I found a seemingly clean one, also hair on the floor, broken off shampoo holder that just laid on the tub, no lamp cover in the bathroom. It's a bit dated with lots of carpet in hallways and rooms that smelled a bit like wet dog (and I do like dogs :)). Printer was not working and available computers had no connection to internet. Service and breakfast was good.”

“ The location was perfect for what we came there for. The property itself is very old and needs a total renovation. The carpet throughout the facility was filthy and the mildew smell was everywhere. The people we met where very friendly and the staff was very nice. We stayed because there was no where else to stay. Not to mention the annoying siren. For a moment we thought it was "The Purge". The hotel needs a lot of work. Sorry, just being honest...”
