“Thank you to Phil and his staff for a fabulous stay. Valentines Day dinner was excellent. We appreaciated the extra touches, the shared cocktail, amuse bouche and shared lovers dessert. We also appreciate staff patience in the face of inadequate information from Wotif. We hope that time and finances will allow the once magnifent gardens to shine again. We will definitely be back. ”

“We really liked our stay here. Loved this feeling of history around us. Helpful and friendly staff. Only thing that disappointed was the pics show a pool which on our 37degree day would have been perfect but the pool was only available to some of the guests in different parts of the accomodation. Apart from that everything was perfect and would definitely use this as a base while visiting the area again. ”

“Was noisey and there was a mix up to what room i was in. 3rd time lucky to find my room. On leaving i noticed the mattress had blood on it and was very dirty. That was the worst mattress i had ever seen and was shocked. Wouldnt stay there again. ”

“Well presented property. The owner Rebecca was lovely. Everything is well thought out and she provides everything you need for a night away. Could not fault the premises she has done a lovely job. Only downside is the guest room is attached to their personal residence. Which you could here walking from upstairs.”
