“It was a one night stay and the kitchen was closed. They phoned ahead to tell me and the staff on that night were really friendly I also managed to get a cheeky wee burger as the work was done so quickly! Yummie ”

“Service was so good and the food was of high quality very tasty. Our room was ok at first cold but warmed up soon I asked. The bathroom was odd but tight for space so I felt the room was quite small for two people but honestly the staff made up for the lack of comfort.”

“I expected to be able to have a meal as the details indicated a restaurant but there was no evening food available. As they had few guests they also closed the bar at 7.30 pm. Odd as when I booked it indicated that there was limited availability. The hotel is pretty basic. The room was clean though and decent breakfast. This has slightly dented my trust in the accuracy of details provided on Expedia. I had been travelling around the north of England and this was the least value for money.”

“This gorgeous hotel in a beautiful part of the country. The staff were amazing and could not have been more helpful or friendly. Food was outstanding and the rooms were very comfortable. There are no negatives this property we will definately be back”

“Arrived about 4.30, had not noticed when booking that there was no car parking, nor was there any available outside. We tried to gain admittance to ask for advice on where to park but noonecwas around despite the fact that the website claims that the desk is open all day 7.30am to 11.00pm. We finally gave up and stayed elsewhere. ”

“Steve was a fabulous host and really went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one.We arrived to the beautiful Orchard View Cottage in horrendous weather and we’re super happy to see how gorgeous Orchard View was. The cotrage has been beautifully finished and all home comforts have been catered for.We managed to get out to the local pub on NYE and had an amazing meal and a great start to 2025.”
